Sterling Crane USA’s Houston Branch recently took part in Mont Belvieu’s annual 811 Day, a community event dedicated to raising awareness about safe digging practices and promoting collaboration among local service providers. The event brought together families, businesses, and local organizations for a day of learning, fun, and connection.

Sterling Crane USA team members Monte and Martin represented the company with enthusiasm, ensuring visitors of all ages had an engaging experience. Children lined up to test their skills on Sterling’s interactive remote-control cranes, gaining hands-on exposure to the precision and care that goes into lifting operations. Families were also able to explore one of Sterling’s full-size cranes on site, offering a rare opportunity to see the equipment up close. For many of the young attendees, the highlight of the day was earning their very own “Junior Operator” license and taking home a hardhat—sparking excitement and inspiring the next generation of operators.

Beyond the activities, Sterling Crane USA valued the opportunity to stand alongside other local businesses and service providers in highlighting the importance of safety, teamwork, and community support. The event not only created memorable moments for children and families but also reinforced the critical role of safe practices in everyday work and life.

Sterling Crane USA remains committed to strengthening the communities where it operates, and Mont Belvieu’s 811 Day was a perfect reflection of that mission. The company looks forward to future opportunities to connect with residents, promote safety, and showcase the people and equipment that make its work possible.
