Celebrating Women in Construction Week: Recognizing the Women Building Our Industry

March 9, 2026

Across Sterling Crane USA, women contribute to every aspect of our operations, from project coordination and leadership to finance, operations, and strategic planning. Their expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence help ensure our teams deliver safe, efficient, and successful projects every day.

"Being a woman in construction means showing up with confidence, making a meaningful impact, and helping pave the way for the next generation." -Linnea Klein, Billing Specialist

Strengthening Our Industry

The construction industry continues to evolve, bringing new technologies, expanding career pathways, and creating opportunities for professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. As industry grows, so does the importance of fostering environments where talent and leadership can thrive.

"Being a woman in construction means working harder than myself yesterday, to raise the standard. Getting involved in the community to show the younger generation that there are no barriers for them. They can accomplish whatever they put their mind to!" -Brianna Lawson, Marketing & Communications Specialist

Investing in the Next Generation

As part of this year’s Women in Construction Week initiatives, Sterling Crane USA proudly donated copies of Bea’s Magical Hard Hat, a children’s story about a young girl discovering her place on a job site with the help of her magical hard hat.

By sharing stories like Bea’s, we hope to spark curiosity, inspire young readers, and help families see the many opportunities available within the construction industry. Encouraging early interest in construction careers plays an important role in building a strong and diverse workforce for the future.

Building the Future Together

Women in Construction Week is not only about celebrating progress, it’s about reinforcing the industry’s commitment to mentorship, professional growth, and creating pathways for the next generation of leaders.

To me, it means recognizing talent over gender, creating equal opportunities, and valuing the unique perspectives women bring to construction teams. It’s about leadership, innovation, safety, and collaboration.
-Julio Martinez, Project Manager Innovation (Marmon Crane Services)

We are proud to recognize the women across our organization and throughout the industry whose work, leadership, and dedication continue to move construction forward. Their impact can be seen not only in the projects we build, but in the stronger, more inclusive industry we are building together.

We donated 20 copies of Bea's Magical Hard Hat to local community partners & families.
